Online List Maker is designed to be as simple and privacy-friendly as possible. Here is what we collect and why:
List Data
When you create a list, the list name and items are stored on our servers so they can sync across devices in real-time. Lists are identified by a random 16-character ID in the URL. Anyone with the URL can view and edit the list. Lists do not require any personal information to create.
Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember which lists you've created so you can find them again from the homepage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are visited most and what devices people use. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
We display ads through Google AdSense and Infolinks to support the free operation of this service. These ad networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your interests. You can learn more about how Google uses your data at Google's partner sites page.
What We Don't Collect

- We don't require account creation or passwords
- We don't collect names or personal identifiers
- We don't sell any data to third parties
Cookies
Online List Maker itself does not set cookies. However, our third-party analytics and advertising partners (Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Infolinks) may set cookies on your browser. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Data Retention
List data is stored indefinitely until you delete the list using the delete button on the list page. We do not have a scheduled deletion policy for inactive lists at this time.
Children's Privacy
Online List Maker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
